Then, Everyone Turned Into Sweet Potatoes

One day, Nobita finds Doraemon using "Transforming Microphone" to turn popcorn into dorayaki, so he does the same. Nobita uses a textbook to do the experiment, and Doraemon gets angry. Nobita shows the gadget to Shizuka but she was in a hurry while hiding a package full of sweet potatoes in her back.

Gian and Suneo team playing baseball at open lot. Doraemon and Nobita secretly hiding themselves with using the invisible cape and turns the baseball into a tomato and the bat into a radish, playing a trick on Gian and Suneo. Then they both get caught by GIan and Suneo get angry and steal the gadget, turning the delivery car into a tricycle. The two are frightened and panicked, and then run into a roasted sweet potato seller, who accidentally confuses the microphone and takes the gadget, turning everyone on the street into sweet potatoes. Gian and Suneo mistakenly think the gadget are broken and return them to Nobita.

In the next morning, Nobita discovers that his father has turned into a sweet potato. When he goes outside, he finds that almost everyone in the town suffers the same fate. Later, Nobita and Doraemon happen to meet Shizuka and find that she is a suspect because she likes eating sweet potatoes, so they run to her house to confront her. Although Shizuka is later cleared of suspicion, they happen to encounter the gadget used by a man who selling roasting sweet potatoes. As a result, everyone turnd into sweet potatoes.
