Suneo invites Nobita to his villa, saying they'll have a swimming contest and a test of courage. Nobita checks the "Time TV" first and confirms it's Gian and Suneo's plan. Frustrated, Nobita is given Doraemon's "Monster Box." Just then, Nobita's mother needs to go out but doesn't have an umbrella, so Doraemon conjures a "Karakasa Kozō" to shelter her from the rain. At Suneo's villa, Nobita conjures a "Umibouzu" to help him swim. During Nobita's stay at Suneo's villa, Doraemon first conjured up "Karasu Tengu", "Sarayashiki", and "Karakasa-kozō" to keep him company. The villa has no air conditioning, and Suneo deliberately doesn't give him a fan, so Nobita conjures a "Yuki Onna" to help cool him down. Then, he secretly calls on "Dodomeki" to help him win when the four of them are playing cards and only Nobita and Suneo are left to play against each other. The courage contest begins that evening, with Suneo, Gian, and Shizuka taking turns to participate (each carrying a flashlight). When it's Nobita's turn, Suneo says his flashlight is out of power, forcing Nobita to proceed in the dark. Gian and Suneo then begin their plan to scare Nobita, forcing him to conjure up a "Hitodama" and a "Rokurokubi", terrifying them. Then, Nobita will pass through a fork in the road. Nobita first calls out "Hitotsume-kozō" to help him find the way. Gian is about to scare Nobita when suddenly he hears crying. The crying is actually Hitotsume-kozō crying because he has taken the wrong path. Afterwards, they arrive at the cemetery safely. After Nobita returns safely, Doraemon, worried, uses the "Anywhere Door" to observe. Gian and Suneo are too scared to return. Doraemon then conjures up monsters to find them, frightening Gian and Suneo even more.
