Synopsis
Fandom WikiWith the summer vacation ending and Nobita's summer homework unfinished, Mom urges Nobita to do the homework immediately. Nobita complains to Doraemon, who is assigned to keep an eye on him, that he doesn't have a good brain so he wants to swap heads. So Doraemon gets him the Body Part Swapping Machine to swap body parts, and demonstrates by swapping their heads first.
After swapping back heads with Doraemon, Nobita takes Shizuka to the mountain where Doraemon has set up the gadget there, though Shizuka doesn't like the idea of swapping their heads and is initially reluctant to. She agrees after Doraemon and Nobita beg her into swapping, and she goes back home to finish watching a movie in Nobita's body. Only thing is, Nobita and Shizuka only swapped their bodies, sans their heads and brains.
Doraemon then finds Shizuka's legs and expresses his desire to have long legs, so he gets Nobita to lend them to him. Soon word about the machine spreads to Suneo and Gian and both want to borrow Shizuka's hands and chest respectively, leaving Nobita with Gian's chest, Suneo's hands and Doraemon's legs. Soon the downsides to having swapped body parts show up - Doraemon scares Mii-chan away with Shizuka's legs, Shizuka is uncomfortable showering in Nobita's body, and Gian finds himself having trouble digesting pork buns in Shizuka's chest.
They go back to the mountain and drag Suneo with them, but with Nobita trying to figure out what to swap back first and Suneo refusing to swap Shizuka's hands back to her, chaos ensue within the gang. Doraemon restores order and gets everyone to swap their bodies back (with Nobita and Gian pleased about the result), but Shizuka and Doraemon end up in the wrong bodies. Nobita goes back home to finish the homework with Mom supervising him and Doraemon feeling confident that he can finish it before the end of the vacation.
