After Gian steals Nobita's manga, Nobita heads home and pleads for Doraemon to help him. However, the robot cat refuses to do so and flies away on his Takecopter. Gian calls Nobita to the vacant lot, where he reveals that his mother slapped him after she saw him steal Nobita's book. Thinking that Nobita told his mom about the incident, Gian and Suneo order the kids to ignore Nobita, even going as far to hang up on him when talking on the phone.

Doraemon returns home to find a depressed Nobita, who tells him about what happened with Gian and Suneo. This enrages Doraemon, who tracks down the two to teach them a lesson. He shows them a gadget called "The Ignorant Insect", which causes tremendous pain if the target reacts to the object to be ignored even a little. Before putting the insect on their bodies, Doraemon confidently asks them if they're brave enough to survive a bee sting, but they ignore his question and walk away. Doraemon tells Nobita not to worry because the more they talk to him, the more pain they will feel.

Doraemon and Nobita start following the bullies. When Gian and Suneo shout at them, the Insect bites them. This process continues before they head off to their own homes. Doraemon gives Nobita the Pass Loop, allowing him to stalk Suneo by eating his snack and reading his embarrassing diary. After that, Nobita heads off to Gian's house, where he stalks Gian's bathroom, prevents him from going outside by telling on his mother, and retrieves his stolen manga. Nobita discovers something hidden in the book, which is a test Gian scored a zero on. This incriminating evidence angers Gian, causing the Ignorant Insect to bite him and make him wet himself. The episode ends with Gian and Suneo trying to apologize to both Doraemon and Nobita, but they choose to ignore them.
