Synopsis
Fandom WikiDoraemon becomes obsessed with Mia, the cat celebrity in commercials. Nobita and his mother are puzzled by this. Just then, Nobita's mother asks him to go shopping with Doraemon, but Doraemon refuses, only wanting to watch Mia on TV. Nobita finds his cupboard covered in Mia posters and, while rummaging through his "Spare 4D pocket", finds his diary. He tries it out, and since his mother is giving him pocket money, he asks her to buy something. Later, wanting to fulfill Doraemon's wish, Nobita writes, "Mia will fall in love with Doraemon." However, because Nobita misspells a word, Doraemon is frightened by a mouse (and Mia too). Mia says she just came to ask for directions, and Nobita feels embarrassed. He painstakingly prepares milk and other food, but Mia disagrees. This left Nobita unable to proceed. Doraemon, catches between anger and affection, is torn between these emotions simply because Mia has uttered the word "tanuki" (raccoon dog). To bring Doraemon and Mia together, Nobita continues writing in his diary, but a mistake leads to Mia's kidnapping (the diary paper can't be torn off). Later, Doraemon finally finds her, but she is angry. Using a gadget, they go to an amusement park, but Doraemon accidentally loses her necklace, forcing him to search for it. Just then, a roller coaster arrives, and Doraemon and Mia board it. The children on the roller coaster spot Mia and stop to watch. To escape the two kidnappers, Doraemon and Mia have to take refuge together. Mia says she wants to see the old lady who has raised her, but the kidnapper is relentlessly pursuing her. Doraemon uses the "Anywhere Door" to reach the old lady's house so she can go there. Just then, the kidnapper is arrested. Facing the old lady who is airing out her blanket, Mia says that the feeling of reunion followed by separation is even more painful. All she can do is wish her well. Finally, Doraemon manages to get her back to her TV show as a host. Although she is attacked by a mouse, Mia gives him a grateful kiss at the end, making him very unhappy.
