After Dad had to call off the family trip to the amusement park due to an urgent meeting, Nobita believes he is the unluckiest boy in the world. So as to cheer him up, Doraemon gives Nobita a Happy coat to wear and covers his chores, and surely enough Nobita becomes very lucky. Gian and Suneo snatch the coat from Nobita, but the former wears it the other way round and becomes very unlucky. The moment the boys meet up, they use the coat on four abandoned kittens so they can find a new owner.
