This Road, That Road, and The Easy Road

Nobita is late for school again, and he realizes that he still has a lot of things to do before going to school. Nobita doesn't wish to live an unlucky life every day, so Doraemon gives him a cross switch gadget, with which one could exchange their life (and identity) with others. As Doraemon continues to teach Nobita about rewriting his destiny, Nobita quickly goes to school.

Upon entering the classroom, Nobita switches lives with the teacher so the latter goes to detention, while Nobita organizes fun-filled activities for the class. As they walk home after school, Suneo tells Shizuka and Dekisugi that Sunekichi is taking him to the theater to watch the Curry Potter film. Nobita switches lives with Suneo so he goes to Suneo's residence instead.

Suneo goes to Nobita's residence and is scolded by Mom for hiding Nobita's test papers. She punishes him not to have snacks. Meanwhile, Suneo's mother treats Nobita to a large cake that was meant for Suneo. When the time comes for Sunekichi to take Nobita to the theater, Gian arrives to remind him that he has an important baseball match to play. Hence, Sunekichi decides to postpone the trip so Nobita could go for the match. They also call Suneo over to the match.

Nobita proceeds to switch lives with Suneo and Gian so he becomes the latter and leads the team. But with his poor baseball skills, he causes the opponent team to earn 77 runs in one inning. This leads Gian to swear vengeance on Nobita, even if he is Nobita now. Irritated by the loss, Nobita quits the game and switches back his life after reaching the canal. Nobita sees Shizuka walking there and decides to switch lives with her so he goes to her piano lesson while she goes to Nobita's house to take a nap.

As soon as he returns to Shizuka's house, Nobita proceeds to take a bath, though he isn't inclined to. Shizuka wants to go to Shizuka's house, so Doraemon gives her an Anywhere Door so she can go there, but shocks both herself and Nobita when she sees him bathing so they switch back lives. In the end, Nobita switches lives with Doraemon for one last time so the latter does the homework for him.
