Nobita is woken up early by Doraemon and begins complaining that he is tired of seeing the same scenery every day on his way to school. Doraemon, hearing this, asks him, "So you'll be willing to go to school if the scenery are different?" He then tells Nobita that no matter what scenery he sees, he should just keep walking straight ahead, and then sees Nobita off. On his way to school, Nobita suddenly finds himself in front of Shizuka's house—a place he shouldn't have seen! And for some reason, there is a shopping street nearby… Nobita realizes this is a Doraemon gadget and tells the equally surprised Shizuka, "Just keep walking straight ahead." Later, they encounter Gian and Suneo, and along the way they see many beautiful sights, including a path in the mountain and a field! Everyone is amazed, but only Nobita is enjoying himself. After school, everyone gathers in Nobita's room. Doraemon takes out the "Replacement Map" and explains that this gadget can be used to change the scenery. Knowing they can freely replace any road, they decide to create their own racetrack. Doraemon takes out the "Entry Mirror," and everyone enters the mirror world. The finish line is set as Mount Fuji. However, Doraemon is terrified by a mouse and grabs a stick to hit it, causing a cliff and suspension bridge to appear in front of Nobita. However, when Nobita and his friends finally drive the car into the cave, everything becomes chaotic because the rat disturbs the map. Suneo, seeing his house at the finish line, launches a missile to blow up Gian's car so he can reach the finish line. As a result, everyone crashes their cars because of Gian and Suneo's trickery. Finally, Doraemon is discovered by the astonished crowd and has to beg for their forgiveness.
