Epidemical Viruses

The episode begins with the girl introducing herself to Doraemon and Nobita in her luxurious long dress. Nobita asks why she has a long dress, to which the girl gets angry and scolds him for not understanding beauty and fashion. Suneo intervenes in the argument and also scolds Nobita and Doraemon, and compliments the girl that she is the most beautiful in a dress.

When Doraemon and Nobita return home, they see Nobita's parents arguing about skirts. Tamako does not want to go to the housewarming party because her skirts are short, and she will not have time to sew a new one before the evening. When she finishes arguing with Nobisuke, she angrily makes Nobita do his homework, to which he says that he did them. And Tamako stubbornly makes him do tomorrow's homework. Nobita is surprised by her words, and Doraemon can barely hold back his laughter from what she said. Tamako turns to Doraemon and, thinking he is being rude, pulls his mustache.

In his room, Nobita asks Doraemon where fashion comes from and thinks it is hard to keep up with. Hearing this, Doraemon takes out a fashion virus, pours the virus into a plate, talks about short skirts and spreads the virus throughout the neighborhood on the roof of the house. A girl walking around in her long dress inhales this virus and, sneezing, realizes that she is dressed incorrectly and runs home to change. Despite her mother's comments, she dresses in a regular lilac dress. Nobita decides to shorten the skirts even more with the fashion virus and in a few minutes all the girls were wearing miniskirts, including Shizuka. Nobita liked that Shizuka was wearing a miniskirt and decided to shorten hers even more. Doraemon jokingly calls Nobita a pervert, but still wants to see the result. However, there is no one on the street because it is cold. So Nobita and Doraemon decide to come up with a funny fashion by choosing long baggy pants. Then they see Suneo and a girl wearing bell-bottoms and think they are fashionable. The girl leaves and Suneo trips and falls, causing Doraemon and Nobita to laugh. Later, they decide to use the fashion virus to make a homeless style and call it "I'm Mommy's Fool!" Then they see how people act ridiculous in torn clothes and grimace as they say goodbye. Nobita begins to think it is strange, but Doraemon thinks it is normal when everyone dresses like that, and the virus only lasts for a day.

The next morning, Nobita forgets about the fashion virus's duration and, despite Tamako's comments, dresses like a homeless person and goes to school. It all ends with his classmates laughing at him.
