The episode begins on a Sunday with Nobita stumbling into his room as Doraemon was laughing at a comic until the battered Nobita horrifies him. Regaining his composure, Doraemon becomes curious as to the events unfolding beforehand, though Nobita's description became spliced, jumping vaguely between Suneo praising, Shizuka rejecting something, Gian drawing terribly and Nobita getting mauled. As he jumps into Doraemon's clutches, the latter remains confounded, forcing Nobita to detail.
Hours prior, Gian shows Suneo, Nobita and Shizuka a piece of his shoddy artwork. Suneo makes an erroneous, encomiastic praise, advising Gian to become an artist instead, much to the surprise of everyone present. Nobita comments on Suneo's mastery of sycophancy as Gian takes Suneo's fabricated advice seriously before threatening Shizuka to serve as his model.
Doraemon takes out the Doctor's Kit and cleanses the swelling wounds Nobita as he continues narrating.
Pitying her, Nobita offers himself to Gian instead. Things turned sour from there when Nobita inevitably fiddles around for miscellaneous issues like sneezing, which Gian accuses for disrupting his accuracy. Not recognizing his terrible artistic talents over Suneo's remarks, he continues to brutalize Nobita over multiple attempts by throwing art supplies at him, and demands him to return after lunch.
Having presumably dispatched all wounds on Nobita, Doraemon was enraged by Gian's atrocious deeds and angrily voices his opposition. Nobita reminds him of Gian's retribution and Doraemon, unable to reach another solution, pulls the Molting Light out of his pocket. Wielding the torch, Doraemon explains how certain invertebrates, like snakes and crabs, will shed their withered hide to allocate room for further development, before demonstrating it on Nobita immediately, briefly blinding him. He comments on feeling itchy, and Doraemon instructs Nobita to quickly remove the separated hide layer, while also covering his privates conveniently with the torch's body. Though Nobita is bewildered by the transparent skin, Doraemon adds on its principles - the torch generates an additional layer of skin under the target's original, effectively displacing it for removal. He whispers a couple of specific tips, and Nobita compliments on Doraemon's sheer intellect as they both display sinister smiles. He sets off to Gian's place with a green bag in his hand and Doraemon wishing him good luck.
Gian threatens to ravage Nobita yet again, who promises he wouldn't even breathe, to which Gian gives an ironic remark on its superficiality. As Nobita takes the seat, he claims to Gian the necessity of meditation under guise of improving his art. While Gian's eyes were closed, Nobita silently inflates the decorated hide, installs it in his place and makes an eldritch giggle as he sneaks away. Right after that, Gian had a bright idea and poses the inflatable Nobita in accordance with his new work - "The Thinker". As he is fired up, Nobita returns to Doraemon and they briefly celebrate their success. Shizuka and Suneo encounter them after playing tennis, with the former thanking Nobita for shielding Gian from her. Suneo points out an anomaly - Nobita was supposed to actually be at Gian's place now instead of at his family residence. He briefly explains the deception pulled on Gian to them, and proposes joining their match also.
Meanwhile, Gian struggles to again maintain any accuracy. He attempts to blame the model for movement before observing its stasis. Then, he comes to the conclusion of Shizuka's presence improving his results. When the dummy does not respond to his threats, Gian attacks, only to inadvertently bounce it around. Not recognizing its properties, Gian charges again, and the Nobita lookalike deflates while dropping its accessories and clothing. Recognizing Nobita's ruse, a furious Gian departs, swearing to skin Nobita alive.
As he comes near the playground, Gian stops when Suneo is lecturing the other three as Nobita inquires him to the unusual praise. He clarifies it as an excuse to disrupt Gian's concert and spare everyone from a sickening, vile auditory torment. Citing Gian's absence, Suneo gloats in triumph, only for Gian to reveal himself, his wrath fully shifting to Suneo instead. Nobita and Shizuka manage to dodge him, though Doraemon was stomped on the face as he jumps on the pipe to catch Suneo, leaving behind a red footprint, much to their shock.
Sun sets as Nobita and Doraemon take a walk in the park, with the former commenting on the close call today. Doraemon recognizes Nobita's sympathy with Suneo just as he shows up, still attempting to evade Gian. He begs Doraemon and Nobita to lend him the torch and they concede to his pleas. The torch blinds Suneo momentarily as the skin begins to peel off, though he is reluctant to undress in public despite Doraemon's command. Nobita offers to cover him, though Suneo claims this would cost his reputation, causing the former to comment on the superfluous detail. When a patrol officer on his bike suspects Suneo of exhibitionism, he stops to inspect, prompting the duo to shield him with gymnastics. Duped by their act, the officer leaves without further incident. As Doraemon inflates the hide, Suneo dresses himself, and Nobita inquires on its disguise. Suneo simply chooses watercolor, which is accomplished again with Doraemon's assistance. As they wish him luck, Suneo runs off-screen to place the inflated object.
Meanwhile, Gian has lost track of Suneo and is still in pursuit. He confuses the dummy Suneo placed on a tree with its original counterpart. Instead of scaling the tree to reach him, Gian finds Nobita and Doraemon, capitulating them into also producing one after him, complete with watercolored camouflage. Out of spite, he deploys the false sentry under the tree, confident that Suneo will be stuck there for eternity.
Time elapsed deep into the night as a downpour occurs outside. Nobita stares outside of the window, pondering on the rivals' fates. Doraemon has returned to the comics, hoping they would have made amends and dropped their differences overnight. Eventually, gushes of rainwater began to slowly eat away at the watercolor paint.
The next day, Shizuka's scream was heard by both Nobita and Doraemon, who discover her covering her eyes while near Etsuko. Shizuka pointed at the naked hides nearby, surprising the duo. Gian and Suneo likewise arrive at a rude awakening and scramble to cover these items when the officer comes around on his bike, suspecting them of obscenity. Gian attempts to explain while Suneo scales a tree, though both end up bumping the dummies slightly into the air, further disgusting the girls and baffling the officer. Doraemon and Nobita share a nervous laugh as Gian frantically attempts to grab his, with Suneo begging them to turn away, again mentioning his catastrophic reputation loss as his dummy drifts to the ground, ending the episode.
Jaiko and Dorami Have Boyfriends!?
The episode begins with Doraemon anxiously staring at Nobita's desk, while he's reading comics on a chair. Doraemon begins to panic and stutter when inquired by Nobita. Dorami soon crawls out of the drawer and departs, though she refuses to disclose the location to her brother. Doraemon soon explains to Nobita her daily trips and his own suspicions regarding her motives. He decides to follow and observe.
Meanwhile, an annoyed Gian is sitting in the family grocery store and also becomes intrigued of Jaiko's travels, which remains classified to him, much to his surprise. He tails her while Doraemon takes the aerial route. Dorami lands at Suneo's place and Doraemon quickly lands to peek over the glass, finding her sitting right next to Sunekichi and becomes wrathful, though Gian soon appears behind, and is also agitated when Suneo and Jaiko interact.
Both believing their sisters off with some machinations, Doraemon and Gian report their findings to Shizuka and Nobita. Nobita is confused, though Shizuka suggests something unspeakable, such as affection, surprising the two brothers sitting up there. Nobita suddenly supplements her argument with their lack of additional purposes, appalling the others.
At dusk, Doraemon is still concerned, though Nobita attempts to console him and deny such possibilities. As Doraemon is about to agree, they find Dorami and Sunekichi speeding past in a car and catch up with her right after it leaves. She refuses to answer his question yet again, terrorizing him. Meanwhile, Gian attempts espionage on Jaiko and is enraged by her romantic script. His enraged declaration annoys her and she slams the door open, squashing Gian, though she returns after failing to observe anyone around. Gian considers his speculation true as he collapses, while Jaiko laughs.
The next day, Doraemon and Gian began pursuit on their own sisters. As Gian arrives first, Doraemon crashes into him. Though he initially denies his purpose to Gian, the former admits he was concerned about his sister and suggests Doraemon harboring the same concerns, to which he finally admits. Gian proposes an alliance between the two. Confounded as to their espionage options, they instead provide Nobita the Invisible Cape and beg him to conduct recon. He later protests as they could just see for themselves, though they are too wrathful to accept his judgement. Sneaking into Suneo's mansion, Nobita continually doubt their concerns as invalid, as whoever their sisters fall for wouldn't have mattered to them anyway. However, when seemingly romantic comments sprout from a room with familiar voices, Nobita is embarrassed and convinced of their conclusions.
Throwing Nobita to the ground, Gian accuses Nobita of libel and Doraemon agrees. Nobita instead demands them to simply observe directly. Out of solutions, they concede, though somehow Nobita is still brought along despite his oppositions. He leads them to the room, though just as Gian is about to open it himself, he relents, citing they should have supported their sisters and their happiness instead. Doraemon agrees, but as soon as they hear a perceived argument, their rage peaked. Shedding capes, Gian and Doraemon burst in before attacking for bullying their sisters, which they deny. Gian punches Suneo, Doraemon deploys Toy Soldiers and the Wrestling Killer to attack Sunekichi, while Dorami and Jaiko attempt to stop them. Amidst the commotion, Nobita picks up Jaiko's script and the sisters demand their brothers to cease. As the lights turn on, Jaiko reveals they were creating an animation out of her comic script and Dorami was helping. Everything the three heard outside were scripted lines intended to be voiced. Though Gian and Doraemon have their concerns dismissed, Dorami disagrees, Jaiko's production was drawing to a close, purposely concealed by Dorami as a surprise until the brothers grew concerned and crashed the party, destroying the Animation Machine as well, though Doraemon resolves this by restoring it with Time Cloth.
Unfortunately, Doraemon and Gian both insist on taking over as compensation, despite their terrible voices, much to the chagrin and disgust of everyone around. As they have their ears covered, Nobita crawls and derides their poor quality while the episode cuts to an end.
