Nobita sees a TV commercial for "Space Adventure Game" and finds it intriguing. He wants to play it with Suneo, but Suneo won't let him, saying it is a three-player game. Nobita goes home and asks his mother to buy the game, but is turned down. Later, he sees a TV commercial selling items and asks for them again. Unexpectedly, his mother refuses to accept his requests for not only Transformers but also a simple Coke. He thinks: "You can't just want something!" Doraemon pulls out "TV Torimochi" and brings Nobita some TV commercial gum. Nobita uses the torimochi to create a DOYOTA remote-controlled car from the commercial, which frightens Suneo and Shizuka. Nobita asks Shizuka to watch TV to see if there are any interesting commercials. Shizuka doesn't want the hair growth pills and constipation medication advertises. Nobita switches channel, only to see another public service announcement. Shizuka complains that none of the commercials are good. However, Nobita notices Shizuka staring at the singer Miyazawa Rie on TV, so he pulls her out and asks her for an autograph. Gian borrows some torimochi from Nobita, preparing to open a department store. "Saibon Eleben" is playing on TV, and Gian and Suneo want to watch the commercials. Gian sees the ramen in the commercial and pulls it out, but it accidentally gets stuck on his face. Gian sees the triangular Rubik's Cube in the commercial and excitedly uses torimochi to stick it. However, the commercial ends, and a monster on TV gets stuck inside, a scene witnessed by Doraemon and Nobita.
