Borrowing in the Shade

In a burning hot day, Nobisuke asks Nobita to weed the garden. Nobita replies him it is hot and needs a cooler day, around November, and he gets mad. Doraemon puts the Shadow Cutting Scissors to make Nobita's shadow to weed the garden in 30 minutes. After ten minutes Nobita's shadow finishs his job so Nobita orders shadow to bring him cola and fan him, even answering the phone, but the shadow isn't able to talk, so Nobita answers instead and orders his shadow to return Shizuka's book. Unfortunately, 30 minutes is almost up and when Doraemon known that shadow is outside he is scurry because Nobita and his shadow will be switched each other in two hours. Nobita's shadow is discovered by Suneo and Gian invites him to play baseball.

Both of them are finding the shadow, but he is back to the house (Remake version adds he goes to the toilet, it happens that Nobisuke is inside)and stepping on the watermelon for Nobita and Doraemon's snack. When both reachs home Nobita thinks that his mom has eaten, mom gets angry and has seen that Nobita's shadow has done it.

Nobita is getting darker and darker (turning to the shadow) so both go upstair and see that shadow can speak and very difficult to catch. Next, using Kagetori Mochi (Shadow Capturing Mochi) to catch Nobita's shadow. While catching, Nobita gets struck with muddy water by his shadow and Doraemon mistaken. The shadow is able to escape and mom gets anger because the living room's door has been broken. Unfortunately, Nobita gets more shadowy and the shadow hides himself in the dark attic.

Mom reachs the Nobita's room and not allow Nobita to run away, so Doraemon gets the new idea to errand mom's shadow to catch Nobita's one.
