Gian, in Love (Part 1)

Gian has fell in love with a girl, and wants to be friends with her, so he enlists Nobita and Suneo's help so he can impress her. Nobita, with Doraemon's assistance, identifies the girl using an All Purpose Printer to close up on her in a photograph, which was taken as she passed by Gian's wrestling game. Later, they get Gian to walk Muku around the park and meet her there, though the latter is quite troublesome to walk.

The girl walks past Gian, who is immediately smitten by her, but is too nervous to talk to her. So Doraemon takes out a Mole-type Speaker so Suneo could speak for Gian. However, Suneo has to rush to the toilet just as the girl walks by Gian and Muku again while she walks her dog, leaving Nobita to take over from him. To exacerbate Nobita's lack of coordination, Muku engages in a fight with the girl's dog. So when Suneo returns to take over from Nobita, the girl is already mad with Gian and walks away from there with Benji.

Furious, Gian gets Doraemon, Nobita and Suneo to apologize to the girl. Nobita finds the girl, Minami, outside her residence and learns that she shares the same birthday as Gian, although she doesn't have any friends to celebrate her birthday as her family is constantly moving house. He tries to explain to her about Gian, but she doesn't wish to invite him for her birthday party as she is disgusted with him. Nobita tells Doraemon and Suneo about Minami, but Gian learns about her birthday party. With Gian deciding to go, Nobita could only laugh nervously as Gian laughs on.
