Synopsis
Fandom WikiNobita is counting money to buy new toys. As soon as Doraemon approaches him with a dorayaki, Nobita takes one, runs to Tamako and finds out the price, then asks for 40 yen. He exchanges the dorayaki for 40 yen, but it is still not enough. Then Doraemon takes out the Duplicate Mirror and uses it to copy the dorayaki. Nobita tries to copy a banknote, but it is copied backwards, to which Doraemon laughs. Then Nobita asks his friends for toys and promises to return them in half an hour when he is done. When he returns home, he uses the mirror to copy the toys, and Doraemon tells him not to forget to turn off the mirror and leaves. However, Nobita was so happy with the copied toys that he forgot about Doraemon's request to turn off the mirror, which is why a clone of Nobita came out, which the real Nobita was scared of. He tried to chase Mirror Nobita back, but he pushed him back in and turned off the mirror, leaving Nobita to cry in the dark from fear. Mirror Nobita plays with a radio-controlled tank and laughs. When he gets bored, he calls Doraemon and immediately chases him away along with the mirror. Then he continues to play ball, knocking all the figurines and books off the cabinets and shelves and damaging the paper door. An angry Tamako enters the room and scolds him for being lazy, to which a frightened Mirror Nobita agrees to do his homework. Meanwhile, Doraemon takes out one remaining dorayaki and decides to copy it with the mirror to eat. When he turns on the mirror, he notices Nobita crying there. Then Doraemon realizes that Mirror Nobita was upstairs.
Not knowing that this is Mirror Nobita, Tamako constantly makes remarks to him for doing his homework incorrectly: sometimes he holds a pencil in his left hand, and sometimes he writes the text in his notebook the other way around. Getting even more angry, she tries to make him rewrite everything from the beginning, but Mirror Nobita refuses and runs away, which makes Tamako furiously start chasing him. As soon as Doraemon pulls the real Nobita out of the mirror, his mirror clone runs in to them, locking the door from Tamako and saying that he wants to go back. As soon as Mirror Nobita jumps back into his mirror world, Tamako bursts into the room and, not knowing that it was Mirror Nobita, decides to punish the real Nobita. He and Doraemon tried to justify themselves to their mother, but she did not want to listen to them and still dragged Nobita upstairs. Doraemon felt sorry for Nobita, since he would get it badly. In the ending scene, Doraemon looks into the mirror and sticks out his tongue, when suddenly his reflection makes an angry face, causing Doraemon himself to be shocked.
