Operation Going Back Home Safely

Doraemon reads manga and eats dorayaki, after which he looks out the window and begins to wait for Nobita to return home. Meanwhile, Nobita is still at school redoing his homework, whining because he is fed up with it. He decides to sneak away home, but when he sees Sensei, he gets scared and runs away, causing Sensei to get angry. After running out of school, Nobita meets Shizuka and apologizes for being late, after which he runs away, causing her to wonder where he is in such a hurry.

On the way home, Nobita thinks about finishing his homework right away after returning home and apologizing to the teacher tomorrow, when suddenly a baseball falls on his head, and Gian and Suneo ask Nobita to throw it. Angry, Nobita throws it to them, but ends up at Kaminari's house and escapes. He goes outside and starts scolding the boys for breaking the window. Gian and Suneo make excuses that Nobita broke it, to which Kaminari demands to bring him here. Gian, Suneo, Yasuo and Haruo start chasing Nobita, but the latter manages to hide. Then Gian decides to put up posters about Nobita being wanted and the boys split up. Nobita realizes that Gian has declared him wanted and cries bitterly.

At this time, Sensei calls Tamako and reports to her about Nobita. She understands his words, and when she hangs up, she starts getting angry. Doraemon, who overheard the conversation, takes out the Safety Guidance Map and Enemy Stopper to know where Nobita is. He finds him and starts helping him get home safely. Nobita has had all sorts of experiences: either a dog chases him, or he almost runs into the boys looking for him. When he reaches the trash can, it turns out that Gian was waiting there to hit Nobita. But before Gian can hit Nobita, his mother suddenly stops him and forcibly takes him home, to which Nobita becomes calm. Doraemon suggests that he quickly run home, but when Nobita runs, he sees that there are two black chips there, meaning danger, and suddenly hears Tamako angrily shouting Nobita's name. Doraemon goes down and sees Sensei and Tamako scolding him for running away from school without permission. The episode ends with Doraemon concluding that Nobita was late in returning home, while Tamako and Sensei continue to scold him, and Nobita plaintively apologizes to them.
