Ventriloquist Robot

Gian announces to Nobita and Suneo that he has composed a new song much to both of their horror. When he asks whether they're excited and want to listen to it now, Suneo quickly tells him he's looking forward to it and wants to listen to it now, which convinces Gian. When he asks Nobita of the same, Nobita struggles to flatter him and tells him that he's looking forward to it but can also wait. Unconvinced, Gian beats him up and leaves. Suneo helps Nobita get back to his feet, thanking him for not making them hear Gian's new song immediately and suggests they go home. Nobita, however doesn't want to go home for some reason.

Back in the Nobi household, that reason is revealed as Nobita has gotten another zero on his test and his mom found the paper, causing her to go on a frenzy with Doraemon trying to calm her down. Suneo tells Nobita not to worry as he's failed his test and it's not a big deal. Nobita asks whether Suneo gets into trouble for failing and Suneo tells him that he doesn't. He demonstrates this by convincing his mother not get angry for failing his exam as he doesn't want to see her get wrinkles as a result of her anger and promises that he will do his best in the next test to make sure she doesn't ever get wrinkles. This convinces his mother, and Nobita gets inspiration to flatter his mother so that she doesn't scold him for getting a zero. Meanwhile, Doraemon manages to convince Tamako not scold Nobita as he will make him understand the situation and slowly Nobita will learn his lesson. Just as Tamako agrees, Nobita arrives and tells her not to get upset as she will get wrinkles and he doesn't want to see her beautiful face, which he then admits it's not that beautiful, get wrinkles easily. This in turn infuriates Tamako as she screams his name and scolds him harshly.

In the aftermath, Nobita bemoans over the fact he can't be a convincing speaker and asks Doraemon if he has a gadget that can make him a convincing speaker like Suneo. Doraemon initially refuses but after much begging from Nobita, takes out a new gadget: the Ventriloquist robot.
