Synopsis
Fandom WikiNobita’s father is watching a tense baseball match on television, cranky and focused as the his favourite team is about to lose. Nobita nervously watches from behind him. In an effort to cheer him up, Doraemon throws one of his gadgets—a Reversing Bomb—toward the television. To everyone’s surprise, the batter on-screen hits two home runs, turning the match around resulting in an unexpected win for Nobita’s father’s favorite team. Overjoyed, Nobidad rewards Nobita and Doraemon with some money.
Excited by the gadget’s potential, Nobita begs Doraemon for one more bomb. While Doraemon reluctantly agrees, a rat suddenly appears, terrifying him. Doraemon pleads with Nobita to chase it away, promising him the remaining bombs as a reward. Once the rat is gone, Doraemon monitors Nobita through the Time TV.
Nobita first encounters a dog that usually chases him. Determined to reverse their roles, he throws a Reversing Bomb at it. When the smoke clears,Nobita is seen biting the dog instead. Replaying the footage, Doraemon realizes in slow motion that Nobita accidentally bit the dog when ducking down as it leaped.
Later, at an ice cream shop, Nobita uses another bomb. This time, the shopkeeper reverses roles with him—handing Nobita money and taking the ice cream he was about to buy. Just then, Doraemon appears behind him, demanding the bombs back. Nobita tries to distract him by pointing to the sky and shouting, “What’s that?” As Doraemon looks up, Nobita seizes the chance to run away.
He next visits Shizuka’s house, where she apologetically tells him she’s busy studying and closes the door. Nobita mischievously throws a Reversing Bomb. Moments later, Shizuka reopens the door and invites him in, saying someone was snooping around. Nobita investigates but finds no one, so Shizuka asks him to stay until her mother returns. When her mother arrives, Shizuka thanks Nobita for helping, and he leaves contentedly.
Soon after, Nobita spots Suneo playing with his RC helicopter. When Suneo refuses to let him join, Nobita uses another bomb. The copter suddenly crashes into Mr. Kaminari’s house, and a panicked Suneo thrusts the controller into Nobita’s hands before fleeing. Nervous, Nobita sneaks over the wall to check the damage, only to find a burglar inside tying up Kaminari. Shocked, Nobita shouts for Doraemon’s help, scaring the thief away. Kaminari thanks Nobita and let's him go without scolding him for the broken window. Soon Gian approaches Nobita as he plays with the RC copter, and demands him to give the controller to play. Nobita refuses and runs off, with Gian chasing him.
Meanwhile, the same thief attempts another break-in but flees upon seeing Nobita again. Nobita throws a Reversing Bomb, causing Gian to forget why he was chasing Nobita. Gian happily jogs past him, but the thief, thinking Gian is after him, attacks Gian. Nobita calls for help, and a passing policeman catches the burglar. Gian, now remembering the chase, looks around confused as Nobita escapes.
With only one bomb left, Nobita rushes home—it’s time for his favorite TV show, Saraba (Ultraman). Doraemon is already watching. During the episode, the hero Saraba is on the verge of defeating the Space Kaiju when Nobita accidentally drops the last Reversing Bomb. The roles flip—Saraba is defeated instead, and the show abruptly ends for good. Heartbroken, Nobita and Doraemon cry together as the episode closes.
