The Long, Slender Friend

Nobita's parents goes to Hokkaido for his cousin Sumire's wedding. Doraemon has to leave home for 2-3 days. To pass the time, Nobita took the "Caretaker Rope" and uses it to collect newspaper subscription fees and chase away salesmen from the Japan Robber Association. Nobita wants to go out and play baseball, and the "Caretaker Rope" locks the door for him and goes out to help him win. Nobita turnes it into a horse and goes to deliver something with Shizuka, also turning it into an airplane and a bird to play in the mountain behind the house. Nobita uses it to create a jump rope, a seesaw, a roller coaster, and a Ferris wheel, attracting many people, including Gian, Suneo, Dekisugi, and Haruo, to play. When it rains, it turns into an umbrella. After Nobita returns home, it cooks dinner for him. Doraemon is worried that Nobita has come home early. As soon as he gets home, He sees it playing chess with Nobita. Nobita says he hates it, but it is really into it.
